Annette Bendes (nee Gugliuzza), age 82. Beloved mother of Ron (Terri), Bob, Rick (deceased) and Barbara. Devoted nana of John David (deceased) and Robert Alan, Jr. (deceased). Dear daughter of Constantino “Gus” and Barbara (nee Locigno) (both deceased). Dearest sister of Marie (deceased). “I did it my way”…Annette was a graduate of John Adams High School. She had a successful career at Huron Road Hospital in Human Resources and at St. Alexis Hospital as Director of HR. After retiring she went back to work at Mayfield Hts. and Shaker Hts. County Clubs. She was spirited, compassionate, smart, feisty, strong, supportive, fair and tough. She loved surfing the internet and shopping. UPS will miss her. She will be dearly missed by all. She did it HER WAY!. A Celebration of Annette’s life will take place on Sunday, April 22, 2018 at Maher-Melbourne Funeral Home 4274 Mayfield Rd. (at Belvoir Blvd) South Euclid from 2-6 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested in Annette’s name to Our Lady of Lourdes Shrine, 21281 Chardon Rd., Euclid, OH 44117.
