PAUL M. ONUSKA, Sr., born November 5, 1922, of Parma, passed peacefully on July 7, 2017. Together again with the late Marilyn (nee Morsefield), his beloved wife of 62 years. Cherished father of Deborah Buckley (Rick), Paul Jr. (Hilary Kane), Jeffery (Sue), and Dan. Dearest “Papa O” of Nicholas and Jonah; Paul was the loving son of the late Paul & Anna (nee Bialko) and brother to Anna Mae Glaeser. He also had 3 brothers and 5 sisters who predeceased him; dear uncle of Eric Dahl (deceased). After serving in the U.S. Army during WWII, he spent 30 years working for the Veterans’ Administration. We will fondly remember his quiet, faithful presence and love of polkas, sports, and the outdoors. Mom is surely waiting to welcome him with a plate of home-cooked food. The family wishes to thank the staff of Mount Alverna Village for their dedicated care of both our parents. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mount Alverna Village, the St. Charles Education Fund, or your favorite animal shelter. Funeral services 10:15 a.m. Monday, July 10, 2017 at GOLUBSKI FUNERAL HOME, 5986 RIDGE RD., PARMA. Funeral Mass 11 a.m. St. Charles Borromeo Church. Interment private. Friends received 6-8 PM SUNDAY.
