JOHN R. STROEMPL, 71, of Cleveland, OH passed away at home on Wednesday, June 2, 2021. He was born November 30, 1949 in Cleveland to Joseph and Ruth (Gobel) Stroempl. He graduated from Valley Forge High School class of 1969. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Science from West Virginia Institute of Technology. John worked at The News-Messenger of Fremont, OH for 17 years, and retired from Horizons Imaging Systems Group as a Printer. John loved boating, fishing, billiards, skiing, riding his motorcycle, and creating with his hands. He was a lover of music and dancing. He was passionate about his beloved Cleveland Browns.
John is survived by his children, Chase (Jana) Stroempl, (Woodstock,GA), Chadam (Mariela) Stroempl, (Palm Springs, FL), Amber Sidoti, (Fremont, OH),Noelle (Chad) Findley, (Cincinnati, OH), Breanne (Aaron) Grimm, (Amherst, OH); step-daughter Heidi Bojar, (Parma, OH); sister, Karen (Jack) Sands, (North Royalton, OH) and brother Mark (Laurie) Stroempl, (Brooklyn, OH); nine grandchildren, Haily, Destin, Ryder, Wyatt, Scarlett, Lana, Emery, Gavin, and Avery. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Ruth; sister Barbara; and beloved friend Ingrid Bojar.
