STELLA “STANISLAWA” KALINOWSKI, (nee Gajdek), age 91. Beloved mother of Jolanta Stepien (Andrzej); cherished grandmother of Alina; dearest sister of Wladyslaw and Kazimierz (of Poland), Krzystof, Bronislawa and Tadeusz (both deceased); dear aunt. She came to the U.S. in May 1968 with her daughter and neither of them knew any English. She worked very hard all of her life, every goal she set for herself she always accomplished. In six months time after arriving in Cleveland, she got her beautician’s license. She was a very driven individual who loved to help people. In her free time she would sing songs, write poems, read and pray. She was a very spiritual and creative person who always used her imagination to make life colorful and full of fantasy. Services 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 29, 2018 at GOLUBSKI FUNERAL HOME, 5986 RIDGE RD., PARMA. Funeral Mass 11 a.m. Immaculate Heart of Mary Church. Interment St. Mary Cemetery. Friends received 4-8 PM SUNDAY.
