Charles P. Brewer, “Chuck”, age 54, died September 7, 2022. He was born in Johnstown, PA on June 26, 1968, the son of the late Charles R. “Butch” and Arlene (nee Smith) Brewer.
Chuck is survived by his spouse of 16 years, Jon Bunner of Ohio. Chuck was a brother of Kelly Penatzer (Larry) of Summerhill, PA, and James Brewer of Ehrenfeld PA. Also surviving are his nieces and nephews: Matthew, Brandon and Jacob Penatzer, Mitchell, Morgan, and Madison Brewer as well as several aunts and uncles.
Chuck was a 1986 graduate of Greater Johnstown Vo- Tech, attended Penn State and was a graduate of the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science. While living in Pennsylvania he was employed as a funeral director and as a Paramedic with Forest Hills Ambulance Association. Chuck had a beautiful singing voice. He was an outgoing “people person” always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He and Jon shared their life with 5 canine companions: Angel, Juno, Mooshu, Frank, Emmy and Archie.
Friends will be received for a memorial gathering at GOLUBSKI FUNERAL HOME, 5986 Ridge Road, Parma, Ohio 44129 on Wednesday, September 14, 2022, from 5-8 P.M.
In lieu of flowers family suggests contributions be made to the Summerhill Volunteer Fire Dept, PO Box 36, Summerhill, PA 15958 or to the Northeast Ohio SPCA, 9555 Brookpark Road, Parma, Ohio 44129.
