COLLEEN MARIE AMROSE, age 65, departed her treasured family on Friday, April 22, 2022. Beloved mother of Jessica Roman (Brian), Lou Franko and Nicole Brockman (Brian); cherished grandmother of Courtney Ratkosky and Hope Roman; dear sister of Charlotte DiCarlo (deceased) (David), Charles Amrose and Samuel Amrose (Nadine); loving daughter of Charles and Mary Amrose (both deceased); dear aunt and friend of many and to rescue dog Roxy. Colleen battled MS for over a decade with dignity and grace, fueled by inner strength and deep faith. She was an amazing caregiver for much of her life, ministering to sick relatives and friends, taking family and friends to doctor appointments, and running a makeshift daycare in her home for parents who needed help. She loved spending time with her beloved granddaughters. Her unapologetic wit was her trademark, and she could find humor in almost any situation. Private services will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Colleen’s name to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, National Headquarters, 6520 N. Andrews Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309-2132.
