DAVID LEROY GOLAK, born May 12,1945, passed away on August 4, 2024 at 3:36 a.m. in Cleveland, Ohio. He was surrounded by his children; Vanessa Cecil, Donald Golak, Melinda Golak, his grandson Devin Golak, granddaughter Sarah Wagen and great granddaughter Stella.
He leaves behind his wife Cynthia Golak and daughter Jennifer Golak; dear grandfather of Angela Golak, Tori Golak, Avery Wagen, Jocelynn Roman (Joe), Brandon Golak, Steven Cecil, Jr., Zachary Wagen and Logan Suhar; great grandfather of Aiden, Stella and Elliot; father- in-law of Steven Cecil.
David was preceded in death by his parents Joseph Anthony and Regina (nee Grendsynski) Golak, David Golak (son), Joseph M. Wagen, Jr. (grandson) and the following brothers and sisters: Virginia Ballestero, Joseph Golak, Theodore Golak, Irene Grabowski and Raymond Golak.
David was one of a kind. He was an amazing son, husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was always telling jokes and being silly. He had a smile that could light up a room and a heart of gold. He loved playing pool and was known as a pool shark. He enjoyed working on cars and just being with family. He will forever be in our hearts and loved and missed by many. He will forever live on in all of us.
