DESIREE MOLNAR

DESIREE MOLNAR, age 56.  Mother of one, grandmother of one, and friend of many. Desiree or “Gigi” was born August 22, 1967 in Cleveland Ohio to Antionette J. Vollick and John Louis Molnar Jr. As one of four children, she was known by all to be a beacon of light, always capable of making something out of nothing, and making the dullest moments memorable. She spread joy to everyone around her. As a mother, Desiree was selfless, loving, and strong. Teaching her only child Samantha how to survive as a strong independent woman. As a grandmother, Gigi was at peace. She spent each day teaching her granddaughter Raelynn letters, numbers, colors, and reading to her. Everyone that knew her, knew that being Raelynn’s grandma was the thing she was most proud of. Desiree loved to spend her free time in her yard, chatting with neighbors, and watching reality television. She will be greatly missed by so many.

If you look upon Desiree’s gardens today, you will find an abundance bright white and purple Iris flowers. The Iris gets it’s name from Greek goddess Iris, meaning “rainbow”. In Greek stories Iris would use the iconic rainbow to travel to heaven, as well as the underworld, and back to earth to relay messages from the gods, both good and bad. This could not be a more perfect symbol of the woman she has become. She used the lessons of her life, both good and bad, as messages and guidance to those around her, especially her daughter and granddaughter.

We say goodbye to an amazing woman, an incredible mother, perfect grandmother, and great friend.

Desiree is survived by her daughter Samantha Molnar, granddaughter Raelynn Tippy, siblings Dusty,  Dori, and Derek. Mother Antionette Hackler and fiancé Arnold Norman.

Friends received SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 17, 2022 at GOLUBSKI FUNERAL HOME, 5986 RIDGE RD., PARMA from 10 AM – 1 PM.
