EDWARD P. GORCZYCA, age 97, passed away Aug. 9, 2020. Beloved husband of 40 years to Stella (deceased); loving father of Jon (Cindy, deceased), Lu (Lucia) and Mar (Maria); dear grandfather of Samantha and Ro; dear son of John and Victoria (both deceased); brother of Louise Holz (Andrew) (both deceased), Joseph (Mary) Gorczyca (both deceased) and Stephen Gorczyca (deceased); caring companion to Marge Vrcan (deceased) and her daughter Lori and their families; dear uncle of Virginia Shaffer, Denise Smith, Tom, Justin, Jim and Jerry Gorczyca, Gregory and Raymond Stasiak, Jackie Eyring, Georgie Kingery, Bob and Bill Holz, Christine Riccardi (deceased) and Bill Wojton (deceased). Loyal civil servant of US Navy Finance and US Navy Recruiting and County Recorders office. Active lifelong member of both American Legion and VFW posts. Twice wounded decorated Vet of WWII. Successful licensed Realtor with Bob Schmidt Realty among others. Former Eucharistic minister and lector and Holy Name Man of the Year at St. Leo’s. Friends received 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 13, 2020 at St. Anthony of Padua Church. Funeral Mass 11:00 a.m.. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
