FRANCELIA “PIXIE” BLAKE

Francelia “Pixie” Blake (nee Bryk) went home to be with her God Saturday, November 11th. She is survived by her beloved husband, James, of 54 years; her loving children, Jim (Michelle) and Becky Lowe (Roy); cherished grandchildren, Travis (Jessica), Ryan, Jake, Katie, Zachary and Jared; lifelong best friend, Christine Bernhard and Godmother and precious friend of Pam Valichnac; sister-in-law and aunt to many. Francelia was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Katherine Bryk and brother Michael. The family wishes to acknowledge the ALS Association Serving Northern Ohio and Hospice of the Western Reserve for their care, compassion and assistance.

Francelia was a parishioner of St. Ambrose Parish for over 45 years. She was employed by St. Ambrose and retired in 2016. She volunteered for various groups at St. Ambrose including Women’s Guild, Senior Group, Prayer Group, Community Meals, and Youth Group. She was a Girl Scout Leader for 10 years. In her free time, she loved to crochet and made and donated 100’s of blankets over the years. She was a Hospice volunteer and was acknowledged as Volunteer of the Year in 1991.

Services Friday, November 17, 2023, at St. Ambrose Church, 929 Pearl Rd., Brunswick, 44212 at 12 Noon. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Friends received at St. Ambrose Church THURSDAY 3-8 P.M.
