HELEN GRABSKI

Helen Grabski (nee Jackiewicz) age 93 passed away June 5, 2026 with her family at her side after a brief illness. Beloved wife of Henry (deceased). Loving mother of Grace Evangelou, Joseph Grabski (Donna) and Terri Coyne ( Peter Adamek). Proud grandmother of Jason Evangelou (Candice), Ashley Mandela (Michael), Michelle Bolger (Colin), Michael Grabski (Katie), Jessica Duncan (Alan) and Thomas Grabski. great grandmother of Alice Bolger, Owen Duncan, Cora Mandela, April Bolger, Sonny Mandela and Waylon Duncan. Aunt, great aunt and friend to many. Preceded in death by her parents, Jakub and Wiktoria (nee Dubaj) Jackiewicz, and the following brothers: Zygmunt Jackiewicz (Bronislawa) and Stanislaw Jackiewicz (Wieslawa).

Helen was a longtime member of the St. Stanislaus Church Choir and The Harmonia Chopin Singing Society. She was an avid cook and baker and enjoyed sharing her creations with family and friends. She participated at various church and organizational functions by volunteering to cook or bake especially for the Annual St. Stanislaus Polish Festival. She had a green thumb and had a beautiful flower garden and grew her own vegetables. In her spare time, she took pleasure in canning her own vegetables for her own enjoyment as well as for her family. In her younger years she enjoyed supporting all of the Cleveland Polonia community dances and functions.

Helen was a very talented, hard-working, compassionate and helped many people in various ways. She maintained her Polish traditions and embraced her American culture.

Services Saturday June 13, 2026 at 9:45 A.M. at Golubski Funeral Home 5986 Ridge Rd. Parma, OH 44129 and Mass of Christian Burial at 11 A.M. at the Shrine Church of St. Stanislaus 3649 E. 65 St. Cleveland, OH 44105 Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends received Friday June 12, 2026 from 4-8 P.M.
