HELEN ROSE “ZEE” ZAJACZKOWSKI, age 97, passed away peacefully at Holy Family Hospice Care in Parma on July 15, 2017. She was born June 8, 1920, in Cleveland to Anthony and Helen Zajaczkowski, residing in the family home in Cleveland and the Parma area all of her life. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Stanley, and sisters Stephanie Maichryc, Regina Petlowany and Wanda Zajaczkowski, nephews and great- nieces, and great-nephews. She is survived by nieces and nephews Dennis of Brunswick, David of Hinckley, Annette Arnhart of Texas, Maryann May and Frank Maichryc of Florida, 12 great-nieces and nephews, 17 great- great nieces and nephews, as well as relatives in Poland. Miss Zee (as she liked to be known as) worked many years as a accounts manager at Sears located in Parma, where she received the Employee of the Year Award for 1975-1976. She was a deeply religious and a devout Catholic affiliated with St Anthony, St. Columbkille, St. John Cantius, and Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic churches. She taught PSR/CCD classes at Our Lady of Good Counsel and St Anthony Catholic Churches for many years. One of her most cherished memories was meeting the Pope on a trip to Rome. Services 8:45 a.m. Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at GOLUBSKI FUNERAL HOME, 5986 RIDGE RD., PARMA. Funeral Mass 9:30 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Church. Entombment Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 PM TUESDAY.
