JOHN E. RACKAS (Rakopoulos), age 90, born in Chania, Crete Greece. Beloved husband of the late Christine Rackas (nee Joanides); loving father of Helen Golubski, Steven and John (Ellen) Rackas, dearest grandfather (Papou) of Alexander Golubski and Jason Rackas; dearest brother of Pete Rakopoulos (deceased) (Stella) and others in Greece; dear uncle and friend of many. John was a dedicated employee of the American Gas Association for over 30 years, a member of St. Paul Greek Orthodox Church since 1972 and served on Parish Council and various committees. Funeral service 11:00 a.m., Monday, October 19, 2020 at St. Paul Greek Orthodox Church (4548 Wallings Rd., North Royalton, OH 44133). Friends received at the Church 10:00 – 11:00 AM MONDAY.
