JOSEPH B. HALUPNIK, JR., 68, passed away on June 24, 2024 at his home in Everett, WA. The beloved son of Joseph and Alice (nee Francis) Halupnik (both deceased) was born on Sept. 4, 1955 in Cleveland, OH.
Survived by his siblings, Cynthia Lowther (Steve, deceased), Kathleen Halupnik, Janet (Chris) Murray, John (Meri) Halupnik, and Michele (Robert) Beyer. Dear uncle, great uncle and great-great uncle to many who will miss him.
Joe enlisted in the Navy before graduating from Parma High in 1973. His Naval experience fueled his interest in aerospace work and he continued his education to become one of the top Non-Destructive Testing engineers in the nation.
He loved his life of adventure with jobs that took him to Oklahoma, California, Texas, the Alaskan pipeline, Saudi Arabia, and even Japan, before settling down in Seattle at Boeing. He was proud of the work he did for NASA at the Space Center in Houston and even spoke to Congress on behalf of the space shuttle.
Joe loved the simple things in life, music, food, a good bottle of wine, and just talking to family and friends. He was always there for anyone that needed him. He will always be in our hearts.
Friends received 11 AM until time of service at 1 PM on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at GOLUBSKI FUNERAL HOME, 5986 RIDGE RD., PARMA, OH 44129. Inurnment St. Mary Cemetery, Cuyahoga Hts.
