Liane L. Grolle (nee Rybczynski) wife of Carl G. Grolle and the late Horst G. Teise passed away on July 5, 2022, with her loving family by her side. She is survived by her children: Gary (Belinda) Teise and Sonita (Todd) Lucht and preceded in death by her son Richard (Jennifer) Teise. She is also survived by Carl’s son’s: Carl (Coreen), Kenneth (Brenda) and John. She was a loving sister to Wally and Fred Rybczynski and the late Erika Hatfield. She was called Omi by her grandchildren and great grandchildren and Tante by many loved nephews and nieces.
Liane migrated to America from Germany with her musically talented family in 1957 and settled in Ohio. She played several instruments including the mandolin, guitar, accordion and the harmonica. Liane worked at Cleveland Trust bank, Erie-Lackawanna Railroad and People’s Savings and Loan Association for many years. As a young, widowed mother with three small children, Liane was involved with her church as a member of the choir and Missionettes. She also helped to cook many meals for after church service activities, summer church camp and kid’s camp in Bridgman, Michigan. Liane and Carl married in1981. She was an active member of Calvary Lutheran Church since 1994.
Private family graveside services will be held on Friday, July 8, 2022.
