LORETTA A. LEWANDOWSKI

Loretta A. Lewandowski (nee Felton-Maslach) age 75, of Stow passed away on Nov. 3, 2025, from Glioblastoma brain cancer. She was the beloved wife of the late Dr. Ernest A., loving mother of Valerie A. Moffa (nee Maslach) (husband Dr. Donald A. Jr.) of Hudson, and cherished Nana of Donald A. III (Lauren) of CO, Charles, and Caroline.

Loretta was born Jan. 18, 1950 in Youngstown and was the fifth child of Margaret (nee O’Neil) and Charles Felton (both deceased). She was preceded in death by her brothers Charles and William and is survived by Mary Jane Hoffman (CO), Catherine Richards, Louise (John) Maro, Michael (Terri) Felton, and Ruth Ellen Skripac (HI).

Rett, as she was known, attended Youngstown State University and graduated summa cum laude in 1974. She went on to serve as a Registered Nurse at South Side Hospital in the Medical and Surgical ICU and at Northside Hospital in Dialysis for ten years before marrying Dr. Ernest A. on February 14, 1987. She poured her heart into her family, especially her grandchildren, who were the center of her world. She was a constant and devoted presence in their lives, guiding them to live with kindness, principle, and heart. Her creativity found an outlet in quilting; a craft she mastered with both skill and passion. She was an active member of KISS Quilt Guild, Loose Threads, and Buckeye Machine Quilters. Rett created award-winning works of art and thoughtful gifts treasured by family and friends.
