LOTTIE V. VARGO

Lottie V. Buszta Dobrzanski Vargo

July 12, 1921 – July 9, 2022
Daughter of Valentine and Maryann Buszta (both deceased). Goddaughter of the late Florence Morasky.

Lottie married Leonard Dobrzanski (deceased) in 1943. Their son Michael (Marilyn Spragg) passed in 2017. Lottie married Michael Vargo in 1984. They were married until his passing in 2002. She was a beloved mom to his two daughters Carol and Barbara Vargo.

Lottie had four sisters: Mary (Frank Dembski), Stella (Henry Sowa), Sophie (Joe Rembowski), Helen (Otha Davis); three brothers: Walter (Jane), Johnny (deceased at 6 months) and Stanley (Dorothy). She is survived by dearest grandchildren: Christine Wojnar, Mary Giuliano, Daufny Estibar, Ervic Arada; three great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Lottie had many nieces and nephews: Donnie and Marie Dembski, Elizabeth Henry, Ted Allen, and Linda Sowa, Thomas, Patti, and Roberta Rembowski, Dennis, Cynthia and Susan Davis, Ronald, Carol, and Florian Buszta, and Judy and Leah Buszta, and many great nieces and nephews. She was a wonderful Godmother to Marie Martin (Dembski), Cynthia Patrick (Davis) and Linda Phelps (Sowa).

Lottie retired from Gould Electronics, formerly Rolo Co., where she began working during WWII.
Lottie loved to cook, sew, dance, garden, and play bingo. She was an active member of St. John Bosco Parish and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She also was involved with the senior citizen group of Brook Park.

Lottie had many friends, but she was extremely close to the following: Mele Gallik, Mele took great care of Lottie and was greatly appreciated; her friend, Sharron Grobelny, her “chauffeur“ and frequent visitor; Midge Hyland was her “bingo buddy” and they spent many hours together.

The family wishes to thank all her neighbors and numerous friends for enriching her life.

Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, August 13, 2022, at 11:30 A.M. at St. John Bosco Church, 6480 Pearl Rd., Parma Heights, Ohio 44130. The service can be viewed live on the St. John Bosco Facebook page. Private interment Calvary Cemetery.
