LUCILLE T. KONFALA, (nee Sotak), age 95, of Avon Lake, formerly of Parma, OH. Beloved wife of John S. (deceased); devoted mother to Joanne Johnson (Tom), Barbara, Mary Louise Petro (Bruce), John (Rita, M.D.) and Kathryn Ilersich. Loving grandmother of Kathryn Pond (Josh), Meredith Petro (Doug Dixon), Abby Beduhn (Chet Smith) and Maggie and Claire Ilersich. Proud great grandmother to Killian, Wilhelm and Scarlett Beduhn. Dear sister-in-law of Dolores Sotak. Daughter of Andrew and Mary (nee Mathias) (both deceased) and sister of the following all deceased; Clara Stuhm (Carl), Marian Haeberle (Norm), Agnes Bahr (Bill), Andrew and Rosemary Tafat (George). Lucille was a long time parishioner of St. Charles Borromeo Church and volunteered in many of their organizations, including The Legion of Mary. She was an original member of the Loyola Society Mothers’ Club at St. Ignatius High School. Her interests included reading, traveling and cooking delicious meals for Sunday family gatherings. Family will receive friends at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 5891 Ridge Rd., Parma, 44129 FRIDAY, OCT. 9, 2020 FROM 10:30 A.M. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 A.M.
