MARTHA T. KULESZA

MARTHA T. KULESZA (nee Dombrowski) was born in 1926 to Florence (Jaroszewski) and her husband Frank Konieczny. She was raised from age 3 yrs. by her Mom and stepfather Thomas Dombrowski to whom she was very close. Martha attended St. Stanislaus Elementary School. John Hay High School in Cleveland, and the USPS Management Academy in Maryland. As a child she enjoyed playing piano and was a student of Mrs. Bednarczyk (whom she just loved) and enjoyed spending Summers at Polish Camp along with cousins Agnes and Henry. Her employment was initially at age 16 with Tremco, an industrial coatings business, while completing high school. As a young lady she worked for Ben’s Supermarket on Payne Ave., a cherished family market, then Federal Department store, Federal Reserve Bank, and finally the United States Post Office. She retired as a supervisor from the USPS Main Facility in Cleveland after 22 years. Martha also loved to travel and had visited London, Paris, Rome, Jerusalem, Bethlehem and the Pyramids in addition to many places and to family in the USA. At age 20 she married Marion S. KULESZA and together they cherished their daughters Kathy and Carol. They were married for 62 years at his passing. Martha is predeceased by husband Marion, parents Florence, Thomas and Frank, her grandparents Martha (Zybura) and Wladyslaw Jaroszewski, her great-grandparents Anna (Schultz) and Jakub Zybura, in-laws Bronislawa (Rowinska) and Stanislaus Kulesza. Celebrating her life are daughters Kathy (Charles) and Carol (Bruce), grandchildren Paul (Amy), Cinthia (Andrew), Kelly, Stacy (Jay) and Jennifer; great-grandchildren Allison, Madison, Stanley, Hunter, Ayden and Lizzie, all of whom will miss her dearly. With family by her side, Martha went to spend eternal life with her Savior Jesus Christ in October 2019. She was interned at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Cleveland, OH.
