Patricia Ann Halek (nee Riccardi), age 88, beloved wife of the late Alan. Loving mother of Kenneth (deceased), grandmother of Kevin Berg, dear daughter of Theresa and Arthur Riccardi (both deceased), fond sister of Donald Riccardi (deceased), daughter in law of the late Mae and Jerry Halek, sister-in-law of Kenneth Halek (Mary Elin) and aunt to nine. Good friend to many, especially Bonnie Glance, Joe Glance (deceased), Elaine and Paul Moeller, Maryann Gust and Gerri Cuevas.
Many turned to Pat for guidance and reflection since she inspired them with the gift of hope.
Pat wrote and had poetry published for which she received several awards, and she also was an ardent doll collector. For many years she served on the development committee of Metro Catholic Parish School, and also enjoyed her tenure as secretary and president of the Cleveland Southeast Lioness Club. Pat received a certificate of merit for the many Sundays spent volunteering at the Brecksville V.A. Hospital.
Being a medical transcriber by profession, after graduation she worked in pathology at Metro General Hospital until her marriage in 1959. Following the death of her spouse she resumed working at Marymount Hospital until her disability retirement in 1988.
Friends received at Golubski Funeral Home, 5986 Ridge Rd. Parma, OH 44129 on Wednesday December 11, 2024, from 4-7 P.M. Services at 7 P.M. Interment All Saints Cemetery on Friday December 20, 2024, at 1 P.M.
