Patricia Frances Cieplinski

Patricia “Patsy” “Patty” Cieplinski, born January 21, 1958 in Cleveland, Ohio. Patsy was reunited with her late parents Zigmund Cieplinski, Sr. and Stella Cieplinski (nee Jachna) on January 23, 2022 at Marymount Hospital due to Covid pneumonia.

Patsy graduated from Nordonia High School in 1976 and took classes at Cuyahoga Community College and Baldwin Wallace College. She loved to learn and made friends everywhere she went. Patsy worked customer service for most of her career and really enjoyed helping people, beginning with Little Tikes and most recently at Tremco Roofing. She volunteered as an usher at concerts and sporting events in several Cleveland venues, hit the casino slots in Ohio, Las Vegas and Canada. She loved crafts of all kinds. She especially loved doing things with family, from poker-party nights to Caribbean cruises. She took great delight in her garden as well as all of the pets she had over the years. Patsy was a great animal lover, adopting and rescuing both dogs and cats.

Patsy was the heart of her family and is survived by brothers, Zigmund Cieplinski, Jr. (Pat), Daniel Cieplinski (Marybeth), Phillip Cieplinski (Vickie-deceased) and Christopher Cieplinski (Becky). She was devoted to her nephews and niece, David, Sr., Phillip, Jr., Anastacia, Daniel II and Jacob, as well as her great nephews and great nieces David, Jr., Amber, Jennifer and Talon. She will be deeply missed by family, friends and coworkers alike.

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held April 30, 2022 at All Saints Cemetery in Northfield, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Vasculitis Foundation to support research into Wegener’s Granulomatosis or to an animal rescue of your choice.
