Patricia M. Pecnik

Patricia M. Pecnik (nee Olszewski), age 74, 8/22/1947 to 12/31/2021. Daughter of the late Wanda (nee Hondzenski) and the late Francis (Rudy) Olszewski; sister of Joanne Krisko. Graduate of the class of 1965 from St. Stanislaus High School, Cleveland, OH and graduate from Malone College. Married to the late John R. (Skip) Pecnik (1944-2014). She lived in Slavic Village, Garfield Heights, and Strongsville, OH. She was a loving mother of two-Mary Akers (James) and Matthew (Jill nee Cavano); grandmother of two; Malachai Akers and Alexander Pecnik.

When living in Slavic Village, Patricia was active at St. Malachi Church in Cleveland, when she lived in Garfield Heights, Patricia was active with the Holy Spirit Catholic Church. She was also active as a volunteer at Cleveland Metroparks. She enjoyed watching Sunsets, playing pinochle with her family, going to Indians games, and spending time with family and friends at her summer home in Vermilion, OH.

A burial Mass for Patricia will be held at St. Adalbert Parish in Berea at 11:30 A.M. on Saturday, April 30, 2022 followed by burial services for both Patricia and John Pecnik at St. Adalbert Cemetery. A celebration of life for Patricia will be held on May 1, 2022 at Stancato’s Restaurant in Parma, OH from 1-3 P.M.
