PAULINE J. TRETOCK (nee Richards), passed away peacefully in her sleep on March 28, 2023 at home after a serious health condition. She was 80 years old and was celebrated by family along with her twin brother Paul Richards in September 2022. Beloved wife of Frank G. for 57 years; loving mother of Dawn Hord (Tom), Michael, David (deceased) and Paula Diaz (James); cherished grandmother of David Diaz (Erica), James Diaz (Katie), Hope and Gregory Diaz, Autumn Mobley (Hunter) and Garrett Hord; great grandmother of Grant, Madelyn, Levi (deceased), Evelyn and Emma Diaz; dearest sister of Roberta Berman (deceased), Edwin, Paul, David and Kathryn Richards; dear aunt, sister-in-law and friend of many; cherished canine companion of Chance.
Pauline was born in Steubenville, Ohio; grew up in Parma where she met her neighbor and future husband Frank. They married on September 25, 1965, moved to the west side of Cleveland and raised four children.
Pauline is best known for her sweetness and smile. She always made people happy with her beautifully written cards and poetry. She is a published poet with the National Library of Congress. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were her pride and joy. She was an amazing wife, mother, and grandma. We have been blessed by her beautiful soul and she’ll be dearly missed by many.
Services 10:15 a.m. Saturday, April 1, 2023 at GOLUBSKI FUNERAL HOME, 5986 RIDGE RD., PARMA, 44129. Funeral Service 11 a.m. St. Mary’s Byzantine Church (Dormition Parish), 4600 State Road, Cleveland, 44109. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends received 4-8 PM FRIDAY.
