PHILIPP LENZ, born March 30, 1933 in Yugoslavia, passed away peacefully on October 1, 2025 at the age of 92.
Philipp was the father of son Terry (Maureen) and cherished grandfather to Melissa (David) and Katy. For the past many years, he was also blessed with his beloved companion, Gloria Sertic. Phil cherished being a father, a grandfather and loved spending time in the company of great friends and family.
Phil was a lifelong sports enthusiast especially his love of soccer. Phil was a proud founding member of the Donauschwaben-German Cultural Center Soccer Club. The love of the game of soccer built lasting friendships throughout his life.
Philipp was preceded in death by his parents Michael ad Elisabeth (nee Jung) Lenz.
Phil was a retired Ford machine repairman who enjoyed gardening, cooking and loved dancing with Gloria.
Private family services will be held. Interment Brooklyn Heights Cemetery.
