ROSE E. PIGONI, (nee Etzrott). Beloved wife of 65 years to Charles Pigoni, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on December 29, 2020, just days before her 89th birthday. Rose was a devoted mother to Sharon Robertson, Steven Pigoni (Ann) and Donna Kurpik (Russell). Loving grandmother to Christopher Robertson, Michael Pigoni (Yaely), Selena Ayers (Everett), Brittany Kurpik (Liam-fiancé), Andrew Kurpik and Ryan Kurpik. Proud great-grandmother to Caroline Pigoni. Sister of the late May Etzrott Wachter. Rose enjoyed playing cards, golfing, bowling, and winter trips to Florida with Chuck. Rose was very creative and artistically gifted. She sewed clothes for us all and made many repairs when we left things on her “magic ironing board”. She created many beautiful works of art and hand painted Christmas cards that her family will cherish and remember her by. Rose was born into and married at St. Michael’s Church and member of St. Catherine of Siena in Pittsburgh. She was a present member of Holy Family Parish where funeral services will be held on January 11, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. Burial at Holy Cross cemetery.
