Stanley Frydryk

Stanley Frydryk, age 94, passed peacefully at home on August 25, 2018, in the presence of his family, including his loving wife of 65 years, Henrietta (nee Szymczyk). Stanley was born in Sanok, Poland on August 31, 1923. He served in the British Army during WWII and emigrated to the United States in 1951, becoming a U.S. Citizen in 1957. Stanley enjoyed his career as a machinist for 32 years and was fortunate to have enjoyed an even longer retirement of 36 years. A beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend, Stanley was a true gentleman who enjoyed family, sports, politics, pinochle and a good highball. He is survived by his wife, Henrietta, and children, Barbara Frydryk, Julie VanHeyst (Dirk), Diane Wolgamuth (Keith), John Frydryk (Sandy nee Hancock), and Linda Cornell (Chris). Stanley cherished and was adored by his grandchildren, Lauren, Alec, Ben, Abby, Joe, Sydney, Mick, Natalie and Corinne. Services Friday Aug. 31, 2018 at 9:15 A.M. at GOLUBSKI FUNERAL HOME 5986 RIDGE RD. PARMA and a funeral mass to celebrate Stanley’s life at St. Francis deSales Church 3434 George Ave. Parma, OH 44134 at 10 A.M. where he worshipped for over 50 years. Entombment Brooklyn Hts. Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials suggested to St. Francis deSales Church. Friends and family received Thursday 4-8 P.M. Rest in Peace Stanley. We love you and miss you. You will remain in our hearts forever.
