Steven Michael Spalek, age 49, of Parma, Ohio, lost his courageous battle with cancer on September 15, 2017. Steven was the beloved son of Rita Spalek Fogler (nee Kwela) and William Spalek and Thomas Fogler (all deceased). Loving brother of the late Susan Parker (nee Spalek), William Spalek, Michael Spalek and the Fogler children; dear uncle and great uncle. Steven had a heart of gold for helping organizations such as the Battered Women’s Shelter, animal rescue groups and his favorite was the WVIZ Auction to name a few. Steven spent his life helping other people to smile at times when life might have been hard for them. He had great faith in God that helped him to help others. Services Monday, November 20, 2017 at Hope Memorial Gardens, 2447 Center Rd., Hinckley, Ohio at 11 A.M. Please meet at the mausoleum. The family suggests memorial tributes to one of Steven’s favorite charities.
