Thomas J. Sablyar, Sr. age 74, of Cleveland, Ohio and Cape Coral, Florida entered into eternal rest on October 14, 2025, surrounded by family members.
Thomas J. Sablyar is survived by his children Thomas (partner, Allison), Steven (wife, Michelle), Laura Fellner (husband, Kyle), grandchildren Lydia, Mason, and Harper. Dear brother of Gale Seymour and Pat (Jim) Blakemore; uncle to many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jacob and Bernice (nee Halazak) Sablyar.
Thomas was a proud graduate of St. Joseph High School, 1970. Served his professional life in the transportation and real estate industries. He cherished the time visiting his grandchildren. He enjoyed playing bocce ball, winning several championships in the Independence league, bowling, restoring classic cars, classic rock and westerns. His allegiance to his family and hometown sports teams; Cleveland Indians and Cleveland Browns was unwavering, a testament to his loyalty.
Family will receive friends Thursday October 23, 2025, from 5-8 p.m. at GOLUBSKI FUNERAL HOME, 5986 Ridge Rd, Parma, 44129. Funeral Mass 10:00 a.m. Friday October 24, 2025, at Saint Basil the Great Church, Brecksville, Ohio (Please meet at church). Interment will be a private family service.
